Of course, there are people who never had this error. The remedy would be to use x360ce.exe to be able to function. People are still suffering from the controller issue on the Steam discussion where when the gamepad (controller) option is greyed out in their menu. My statement is not 100% true, but it is not "totally" untrue.

This game isn’t all that great anyway but the Xbox version is the place to play it if you want to avoid the issues from the PS4 version and especially the PC version. Several playthroughs I watched of people playing this garbage on PC, it just kept crashing randomly! The PS4 version is not as terrible as the PC version, but however, it has input delay issues, crashing issues, and also a game breaking bug that will randomly corrupt your save file after about 20 or more hours of playtime. Tons of glitches and also missing some content, like the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + Alpha that is exclusive to the Xbox One version.ĭR4 is one hell of a freezing and stuttering mess on PC. For the record, the 360 versions of DR1, DR2, and DR2: OTR are not backwards compatible, but the Xbox One versions should still be avoided due to the bugs and performance issues.ĭR3 has numerous problems on PC. I wouldn’t recommend the PC versions since DR2 doesn’t work well without a controller and OTR is very buggy on PC for some reason. The PC versions and especially the rereleases for PS4 and Xbox One are very unstable and have tons of problems that weren’t in the original versions. From my experience, the Xbox 360 versions of DR2 and DR2:OTR have always been the most stable of all versions.
